Feel free to upload images, but please keep the following things in mind:
Images that contain the following are not allowed:
Guro (gore/blood, note that a little blood is ok, but lots is not.)
Furry. There is already a site on shish's network for furry images.
Loli
Toddlercon.(If you upload toddlercon I will analy rape you with a lawn mower blade)
Images that contain a logo not placed there by the artist (aerisdies is the perfect example)
Also, the Den of Iniquity is a site that catalogs erotic artwork, and as such photographic images should not be uploaded.
Please tag images that you upload with whatever information you have about them
Tagging
If you have any information on an image go ahead and tag it.
When tagging you should keep the following things in mind:
Use underscores instead of spaces within tags. Use spaces to seperate tags.
Example:
This: final_fantasy_vii tifa
Not this: final fantasy vii tifa
Note that tags should be in all lowercase.
Don't use special characters in tags. Question marks and such will make the image not display.
Exlamation marks are ok though.
If the image has the tagme tag you can remove it as long as you add a fair amount of data.
When adding character names try and add both first and last name, in this format:
familyname_givenname
This removes the confusion of having 20 different characters named Rei, for instance.
There are a lot of exceptions to this, and I understand that it might be a bit confusing, but here goes:
For names that are obviously western use givenname_familyname, such as tina_foster
There are a lot of characters that either only have 1 name, or are so
well known by just one that it is appropriate to only use that one. Some
examples would be cammy, tifa (versus tifa_lockheart), and kasumi. RPGs and
Fighting games probably make up the bulk of this. It should be noted that if
there IS a conflict with another name (for instance, if there was another
tifa) then it again becomes appropriate to use the family name.
Asian anime names should be in familyname_givenname as often as possible,
even if the family name is hardly known. Anime names have a much higher
chance of conflicting when only one name is used.
If you aren't sure what do to for a certain character just check the tags
to see if there is already a convention being used for that character, or a
character with the same circumstances. If not then just ask, or go ahead and
tag your best guess and it can always be fixed later.
